A'raht is, in every sense, a himbo—a carefree soul with a brotherly heart and a reckless streak. Chaos courses through him, untamed even as the discipline of order was drilled into his bones. Authority, especially in the hands of micromanagers, earns his sharp disdain. Yet, like the raging waters of a river, he has learned to bend and flow around obstacles, wielding adaptability in place of brute defiance. Stubborn, yes, but easily swayed when the cause appeals, even if he prefers to lead the charge rather than follow.A puckish rogue clad in a soldier’s guise, he is a fanatic for firearms, though his truest passion lies in the art of detonation. To him, no problem exists that cannot be solved with more bullets, a bigger explosion, or—if all else fails—a well-placed act of arson.A'raht lives life as a true daredevil, discarding safety for the thrill of the moment. Burning the candle at both ends, he chases the promise of a blaze of glory, a hero’s ending. His desire to be a savior burns brightly, though his methods often stray from the heroic. Beneath his roguish grin lies a savior complex, a man desperate to leave his mark, even if it means risking everything for a fleeting moment of valor. No matter the situation, A’raht is always in possession of at least one firearm strapped somewhere on his body.

backstory
A’raht’s tale began in the Doman Empire, born of a Hrothgar father and a Sunseeker Miqo’te mother. His youth was a tempest, marked by the cruel jeers of those who saw only a misfit. But in Byakko, the white tiger Auspice, he found a reflection of his own untamed spirit. It gave him the strength to endure, though it also nurtured a bravado steeped in cocky arrogance. His father, a steadfast Gunbreaker, sought to instill in him the virtues of chivalry, the honor of protecting the weak. Yet A’raht resisted, seeing no worth in shielding anyone but his mother—and she already had his father’s strength. Disillusioned by lessons of discipline, he turned instead to the thrill of chaos. Theft became his playground, pickpocketing his art. And by his tenth winter, fire had become his muse, leaving ash and embers in his wake. The reckoning came in his fourteenth winter. His flames had consumed too many rooftops, and the weight of his deeds finally bore down upon him. Stripped of his name and thrust into military conscription, he was branded "Rhode," a symbol of his exile from boyhood freedom. The next ten winters were a crucible, his reckless chaos forged into a tempered soldier. Or so they believed. A’raht mastered the art of hiding his rebellion, channeling it into reckless heroism. But this recklessness, fiery and unyielding, brought him low. A fateful mission left him grievously wounded, his life believed extinguished like the last flicker of a dying flame.Yet his story refused to end there. Found by a member of the Ito family of Kugane, A’raht’s survival became a second chance. His saviors saw the yearning for glory that burned within him and turned it to their purpose. They offered him a role he could not refuse: to protect their heiress, Nyoko, as her personal bodyguard. What they neglected to mention was that Nyoko’s rebellious streak rivaled his own.The following four winters were a whirlwind. Trouble seemed drawn to Nyoko like moths to flame, and A’raht found himself with purpose and entertainment. But their shared chaos culminated in tragedy. The Ito family was slaughtered in their absence, an attack they narrowly escaped due to a late return from a day of shopping. Standing amidst the ruins of a blood-soaked legacy, A’raht turned to old contacts, leveraging every ounce of his past to ensure Nyoko’s survival. Thus, his days became a blend of loyalty and unyielding defiance, protecting the last thread of a broken family while his own spirit remained untamed—a tiger who had learned to lie in wait, but never to be tamed.

ooc
IC =/= OOC. I’m not my character, my character is not me. I’m happily married. Friends are great, but don't flirt with me OOC.
Consent and communication are paramount to interaction. Let me know if you’re not feeling the scene or uncomfortable; I’ll do the same.
21+ only. Keep things third person, please.
Quality over quantity. In-game, expect 1-2 paragraphs; on Discord, expect 2-5 paragraphs.
I prefer plot-heavy connections and long-term non-romantic bonds, but I am not opposed to ERP if it happens.
I’m interested in dark and mature themes intermixed with conflict.
Lore-bending is fine, but I’m not interested in lore-breaking, WoL, self-inserts, kinning, or alternate universes. Permanent death and disfigurement, metagaming, godmodding, and powerplaying are also no-goes for me. Injuries are fine, talk to me about it first.
Dice rolls for combat and determiners when not improvising.
